The Spirit Behind Da Wine Konnect
Polycup Masiga, affectionately known as “Daddy or Poly,” was born and raised in Meadowlands, in the heart of Soweto’s southwest. With the rhythm of Ndofaya in his veins, Polycup’s journey is deeply rooted in family, culture, passion, and an unwavering love for the finer things in life.
What began as a personal appreciation for good wine evolved into a bold vision: to curate only the best, and to bring the luxury of fine wine into spaces that embody authentic South African culture.
Da Wine Konnect was founded on the belief that kasi culture and class can exist in the same glass. This is about more than just pouring wine – it’s about pouring pride, passion, and purpose. Each bottle is selected not only for its quality, but for how it speaks to our people: those who know the grind, respect the hustle, and still make space for the exclusive, the refined, and the beautifully crafted.
